CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING GROUP (CEG) was established in 1991 by a seasoned group of engineers in the aftermath of the 1st Gulf War in Iraq. Our primary business at the time was participating in the major rehabilitation and repair of numerous facilities and infra-structure in Iraq that were destroyed or partially destroyed in the war. We worked intensively with the Iraqi government and several contractors and undertook major projects within our area of expertise – which is the supply and application of construction chemicals – as well as construction and civil works.
We use products from the leading brands in the construction chemicals industry such as: BASF, Fosroc, Sika, MCT Group, Colmef and many others.
We examine the need, suggest the appropriate solutions, supply and apply those chemicals and solutions. We are thankful that after many decades in the industry, and as a result of impeccable performance, we received zero complaints about the suggested materials we supplied, and projects executed to date.

Mr. Yasir T. Elias founded CEG in 1991 right after the 1st Gulf War in Iraq. The country was devastated and most of its infra-structure was in need of repair. CEG stepped in the gap of supply of qualified contracting and construction local firms that were able to successfully execute major rebuilding and repair projects in partnership with the major contracting firms in the market.
Mr Elias was a seasoned engineer; he was born in 1955 and passed on his legacy of success and ideals to the current CEG staff. He studied Civil Engineering at Mousel University of 1978 and worked for Military Engineering Dept. and Municipality of Baghdad in Baghdad and on projects all over Iraq.
