The client planned to increase the production lines for their factory which required removing old flooring for the existing production line.  CEG, executed the work that include removing for the old flooring system, applying a self-leveling flooring, expansion joints and industrial epoxy flooring.

For the new production lines CEG executed Epoxy grout for the new machinery and expansion joints with surface preparation and industrial Epoxy flooring.

The project includes underground Concrete storage tanks and upper Water settlement tanks, CEG contracted to work on: major concrete repairs, concrete cracks and water leakage repairs, concrete protection from outside and lining of Tanks with anti-fungus and anti-bacteria Epoxy coating.

CEG, executed the work to repair the concrete surfaces with mortar materials from BASF chemicals, Injected LV-PU to stop the water leakage cracks, repair the expansion joints with special type of joint sealant, executed bitumen epoxy coat to protect the outside concrete and lining inside the tanks using BASF Chemicals for Anti-fungus and Anti-Bacteria coating.

The Project is to build Central Processing Facility (CPF) by Samsung Engineering to LUKOIL Co. at West Qurna II (WQ2), and three Well Clusters.

CEG, started the first concrete repair contract with the main Concrete supplier to the project (77 Insaat), CEG executed the work which included but not limited Repair concrete cracks, Expansion joints, supply of concrete admixtures for the new foundations of the project, Cement Grout and Epoxy Grout for the most of the foundations in the project.

CEG, executed the same repairs for another three well clusters.

BASF Chemicals material were mainly used.

And with the progress of work on site and with a good performance, CEG executed the following work:

• 12000m2 of HDPE for Evaporation Ponds, thickness 2mm.
• Insulation of piping work at the CPF of 1800m of different diameters, Armacell materials were used
• Fireproofing coating – CEG applied Cementitious fireproofing for the most steel structure at the site
• Applying of Industrial Epoxy flooring for the Warehouses of an area of 40000m2
• Applying Ceramic Coating for the flare area using Belzona Materials
• Tar Epoxy coating for the foundation area of the Ground Power transformers
• Applying of Ant-Corrosive and protective coating for the oil storage tanks and water tanks
